Dr Shailaja Sekar

Dr Sekar graduated from Flinders University in 2015 with a Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Clinical Sciences. During her hospital years, Shailaja has worked in medical, surgical and emergency departments in tertiary hospitals around Adelaide. Dr Sekar started specialist training in rehabilitation medicine, which focused her interests on chronic disease management, preventive medicine, and musculoskeletal conditions.
 

Outside of medicine, Shailaja enjoys walks with her partner and dog, hiking, tennis, and baking.

Dr Shailaja Sekar consults at Aberfoyle Park Medical Centre on Fridays and Saturday mornings from the 25th July 2025.
